You Won’t Be Disappointed

Being a dental patient with many dental problems, I can highly recommend Dr. Mai-Trinh Ngyen. She is extremely knowledgeable in her field, has the patience of a saint, prior and during procedures she explains what is going to happen or is happening, and takes great care to make sure the patient is comfortable throughout their visit. Her office staff is always pleasant, caring, and able to answer all of my questions efficiently and accurately. If you’re looking for a new dentist, you won’t be disappointed with this office.

Thrilled and Grateful!

I’m thrilled and grateful for Dr. Nguyen’s professional knowledge and expertise. Last week, Dr. Nguyen replaced a very old crown on my upper right side. I was worried that my jaw splint would still fit after the changes. She was just as concerned as I was, and ‘lo and behold, it fit!!! That’s only the beginning of the wonderful thing she did for me. Since the new crown was a much better size for my jaw, it Corrected my Painfully Off-Center Bite! Yes! I was dancing and singing songs about Mai Nguyen! An orthodontist told me it would take two years and about 30K to correct my bite…Dr. Nguyen got me 90+ percent better with one crown, just by putting in a more excellent size and shape. She is the best dentist, barre none, we’ve ever been to. Gail, the receptionist, and Kim, the hygienist, are both professional and human: really the best (again) we’ve ever experienced. And I’m a fanatic about dental hygiene: I can’t even sleep at night unless I’ve flossed. Kim knows her stuff, and taught me even more about dental self-care when I asked. Gail is honest, up-front about pricing (senior discount, cash discount on top of that…,) and, like everyone in the practice, a great communicator. I also needed a few small fillings due to another very old crown…Mai Nguyen’s got a magic, painless touch. I never felt any pain, and she used a block so I could relax my TMJ-prone jaw. My family, and my daughter’s entire family go to and trust Dr. Nguyen, and believe me, we have some pretty picky family members. I won’t say who because my son-in-law might read this.

Knowledgeable and Caring

Oh wow! After my visit yesterday I had to leave a review. Gail the receptionist was exceptional. She actually answered my initial call and called me back within an hour to verify my insurance. She was able to book us for a sooner appointment since my husband has never been to the dentist ever so it was a little urgent (Dr. Mai discovered 5 cavities and my husband is quite proud of all 5 like they’re his babies). It’s sort of a payback since he’s made fun of my mouth full of metal fillings, OMG! Kimberly the hygienist was amazing! I had a regular cleaning done and during the whole time I was thinking, “Holy crap why am I getting a deep cleaning?” “I can’t afford this!” Well to my surprise it was a regular cleaning. I have had a deep cleaning done before and this regular cleaning was even better. Kimberly was very thorough and took her time to work on every tooth, even my crowns! lol, well not actually but below the gum line. She explained everything she was doing and I learned things I never knew before about my teeth. Tanya the assistant was so friendly and pleasant. I was also impressed that they gave two young students a dental office experience. That’s what it’s all about, inspiring our future. Dr. Mai was so cool. I felt like I was talking to a friend the whole time. She was very knowledgeable and caring. She took the time to educate me about my dental needs, gave me different options and the priorities I needed to focus on. She wasn’t at any time trying to sell me anything. She took the time to get to know me as a person and I felt at ease. Afterward Gail called my insurance to see how much they covered and what my exact costs were. This is a great dental office and I walked away feeling confident that I got the best care possible. My husband was so happy after his first ever dental visit even though he’s got some cavities to fill. I’m so glad I chose the perfect dentist for his first time. Guys, definitely give this place a try. You won’t be disappointed.

My Entire Family Loved Them

Truly amazing. Mai and Phuong are friendly, gentle, experts at their craft, but most important they genuinely care about their patients. We have been going to the same NB dental office for almost 20 years, but my entire family loved Mai and Phuong so much that we followed them to HB, even though it’s an extra 15 minute drive. Well done team!

TLC and Professional Work

I will have to agree with all the other posters that Dr. Nguyen and her team are excellent dentists if you need TLC and professional work done. They pay close attention to your sensitivity issues and fear of being in the chair. I also followed them to their new location in Huntington Beach which is actually closer for me. Also a big thank you to Kim for doing an excellent job at scaling! My bicuspids and incisors thank you all. Everyone please, if you are searching for a five-star dentist or are uncomfortable with your existing dentist, please make an appointment…. you will not be sorry and will actually like getting your teeth cared for!  And I promise I’ll wear my nightguard!

Always Concerned With Our Comfort

Our whole family has followed the amazing Nguyen sisters to their new location in Huntington Beach. We are very happy with them and their wonderful service. They are always concerned with our comfort and make sure that we have a pain-free experience. They are always on-time for our appointments and we never have to wait. I do feel that they make it a priority to make all their patients feel like they are very important and they are concerned with our dental health, as well as, our budget. Gail and the office staff are super nice and helpful also. We highly recommend Dr. Mai and Phuong Trinh Nguyen!
