Meet Our Team
Dr. Mai-Trinh Nguyen
Dr. Mai-Trinh Nguyen is an Orange County native. She grew up in Irvine and has ties to the community. Her undergraduate studies was at the University of California, Irvine in Biological Science. She received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at University of Southern California, a nationally recognized dental school, in 1997. To stay current and technically skilled in the latest dental technology, Dr. Mai-Trinh Nguyen takes continuing education courses that focus on minimally invasive treatment. She enjoys providing patients with cosmetic treatment that improves their self-confidence. In her free time, she loves to travel all over the world with her husband and two boys. She also relaxes by taking cooking classes abroad and experimenting on her family.
Dr. Phuong-Trinh Nguyen
Dr. Phuong-Trinh Nguyen initially studied psychology before getting her degree in Biological Science at the University of California, Irvine. She attended the University of Southern California School of Dentistry the same year as her sister Dr. Mai-Trinh Nguyen. After graduating in 1997, she returned to USC as a part-time volunteer in the preclinical Restorative Department. Dr. Phuong-Trinh Nguyen believes trust and a comprehensive approach is the key to providing her patients with optimal care. One of her strengths is working with apprehensive patients to overcome their anxiety. Currently, she is a clinical staff at the UCI Student Health Dental Clinic. Outside the office, she enjoys volunteering at her girls’ extracurricular activities. Her favorite pastime is to unwind with a good novel or watch old classical movies.
Kim – Registered Dental Hygienist
Kimberly was recognized as a 2014 recipients of the Sunstar America’s/RDH Magazine’s Award of Distinction for her commitment to help access care for patients with special needs. She graduated from Cypress College with a dental hygiene license in 2005 and completed her alternative practice license from W. Los Angeles College in 2011. This license enables her to specialize in home bound dental hygiene care for the elderly and disabled. Kimberly was also a recipient of the ADHA/Wrigleys Community Service Grants in 2012 and the ADHA/Colgate Community Outreach Award in 2013 for spearheading the free dental clinic program for homeless women and children in Orange County.
Gail – Office Manager
Gail has over 30 years of experience in the dental field. She started out as an RDA and found her niche as an office manager. Originally from Hawaii she tries to keep the ” Aloha Spirit” alive in the office. She will go out of her way to help patients with insurance and financial concerns. Gail loves the beach, desert, hiking, music, and raising as many different color plumerias as she can.
Tanya – Dental Assistant
Tanya received her dental assistant license in 2007 and soon after began working in the field of Endodontics. She then continued her experience in an office focused on General/Cosmetic Dentistry. Tanya is currently pursuing her RDA license. In her spare time she volunteers at the Orange County Dental Hygienists’ Society’s Free Dental Clinic. Tanya is an animal lover and enjoys football and gatherings with family and friends.
